Wire Crochet

Come over to Michaels tomorrow from 10am to 12pm for Wire crochet class. All you need is 26 gauge wire color of your choice an I or a J crochet hook and some beads. This is one of my favorite classes its so much fun and the necklace turns out beautiful!!

Winter Wonderland!!! Whooo hooo

I am soooo excited tonight is the night!!! It's winter wonderland in Atascadero Ca! On the central coast we only have snow a few times a year once at Winter Wonderland once at Vine Street Victorian Show Case in Paso Robles and possibly if we're lucky it might really snow, but it certainly is a special occasion! I am also so proud to say that Bijouxbylisa is now officially in a store Living Well Gallery and Spa 6280 Palma Avenue Atascadero (805) 550-3147 And Palma Ave is right next to the snow!! Whoo hoo so while your husband or friend waits in line with the kids to sled come in and get warm have a gourmet cup of fresh coffee or hot coco and check out my bijoux ha ha. Tomorrow is the day Tuesday Aug.! I am teaching intermediate soldering! Come join me for this fun class we will learn how to add embellishments to our fabulous soldered pendants!!

Summer Classes at Michaels Wire Wrapping

Hi all, summer has been sooo busy for me but we are having fun! It started off with traveling to Las Vegas for my daughters dance competition, my mom came to visit from Hawaii and us three girls drove to Vegas for 5 days My daughter competed and we had a great time! My mom and I hadn't been to Vegas in years and my daughter had never been, so every spare moment we were sight seeing we hit almost every hotel I think our collective favorite was the Venetian. We all wished we had worn tennies because all we did was walk and walk! Then when we got back we had a few days off and the California Mid-State fair started and my daughter danced at the Miss California Mid-State Fair pageant! I worked the whole fair for a friend in her cell phone accessory both and sold my jewelry there. The fair runs twelve long days! Today is my last day at the fair and I am wiped out! I am so looking forward to getting back in a normal routine working at Michaels and teaching jewelry making classes!! Monday is fundamentals of wire wrapping!!

Wire Wrapping

Today I am teaching "Fundamentals of Wire Wrapping" This class is a great beginning class, I teach you the tools and supplies you will need, beading/jewelry making is about the tools, the best wire to use, and all about wire the different gauges, hardness, and different types. I will teach you about beads, findings  and design we take our time practicing making loops and talking about different techniques. In this class you will also go home with a beautiful pair of personalize one of a kind earrings.

Dapping and Stamping

Tomorrow I am teaching dapping and stamping at Michaels Paso Robles 10am to 12pm. This class is really fun I show you the basics of working with different metals, how to "dap" which is actually pounding the metal to make different designs. "Stamping" is using different letter stamps on the metal to write names etc. This class is loud but fun!!! Advanced Wire Wrapping Rings

Tonight at Michaels Paso Robles Ca, I am teaching advanced wire wrapping rings come join me I am so excited to teach this class. The class starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:30 I show up at 6 and can walk you through buying your supplies. If you have your own supplies at home all you need for this class is 20guage German style wire, a large crimping tool, a ring mandrel, and a sharp pair of flush cutters. If you don't want to buy a ring mandrel or large crimping tool I will share mine;)
